The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is an autonomous government agency that was created with the express purpose of streamlining the hiring process for public service positions. The Public Service Act No. 8 of 2002, as revised by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1), established the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
The Public Service Employment Secretariat Secretary PSRS extends an invitation to competent Tanzanians to apply for the 145 positions listed in this announcement. This invitation is extended on behalf of the Permanent Secretaries of Ministries, Chief Executives of Independent Departments, Regional Administrative Secretaries, and Directors of City/Municipal/Town and District Councils.

Requirements:
- To prepare work resolutions, lesson plans, lesson notes, and work plans for other assigned duties;
- To create and customize teaching and learning tools;
- To teach, conduct assessments, and maintain records of student progress;
- To supervise and monitor student attendance at school and in the classroom;
- To oversee the intellectual, physical, and spiritual development of students and provide counseling and guidance;
- To offer professional and academic advice on educational development;
- To supervise and maintain school equipment and property;
- Other duties as assigned by the Head of the School according to school responsibilities.
Qualifications:
A National Form Four Examination Certificate, a Grade A, B and C Teaching Certificate, and successful completion of a two-year teacher training program from a government-approved teacher training college are prerequisites for employment.
