The Head of Impact’s overarching duties include assisting CAMFED Tanzania with accountability, compliance, and providing a foundation for decision-making while advancing knowledge management.

Open Positions and Description:

1. IT Support Officer – 1 POST

Accountabilities:

  • As an IT support officer, you will report to the head of impact and be in charge of all first-line and some second-line user assistance for all hardware and software problems. You will collaborate with a small team to provide courteous and competent help.
  • You’ll possess a strong foundation in information technology, remarkable interpersonal and teamwork abilities, and the capacity to collaborate and interact well with members of global teams. You will provide a great deal of vigor, initiative, and dedication to the position, as well as the transparency and accountability that are key to CAMFED’s basic values.
  • We are seeking an individual that shares our passion for technology and who can work across several platforms with flexibility in order to help users and manage systems.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Administration of Windows Server.
  • Microsoft Azure/Entra ID
  • Cloud services like Office 365, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.

2. Head of Impact – 1 POST

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the CAMFED Tanzania Monitoring Evaluation Research and Learning Team (MERL) strategically to achieve important goals.
  • At the global level, represent the Camfed-Tanzania MERL Team.
  • establishing methods for maintaining program delivery quality control.
  • Informs the management team and the national director about new trends, data patterns, anomalies, and issues, as well as the supporting documentation for promising or successful practices in the given situation.
  • supervises and evaluates MEL budgets as part of proposal writing, quarterly reviews, and annual planning.
  • keeps up with pertinent contextual secondary data to facilitate program learning and modification.
  • assistance with the creation and implementation of yearly workplans and national strategy plans.
  • accountable for the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the data in Salesforce.
  • Oversee the MERL team’s financial plan for CAMFED Tanzania.
  • Provide M&E team and champions with training and supervision in accordance with program criteria.
  • districts in MERL receive training and technical support.
  • Assist in the creation of donor proposals, reports, and guidelines for donor compliance throughout the implementation process.
  • Make that the M&E policy of CAMFED is followed.
  • Encourage the creation of external reports and information about the work being done by CAMFED.
  • Assist CAMFED Tanzania with expert supervision of data collection, analysis, use, and distribution.
  • Make that the quality program data is consistently consolidated.
  • oversee the activities of CAMFED’s monitoring and evaluation department.
  • Oversee the study process while preserving CAMFED’s strict adherence to its child protection policies and strong ethical standards.
  • Lead the evaluation strategies and specifications unique to national design grants, working with regional MEL.
  • Determine any patterns or deviations in the program and notify the appropriate program staff.
  • Make that the Salesforce system tracking program activities is accurate and current.
  • Ensure that program success stories and best practices are documented.
  • six (six) years of minimum substantiated experience in planning, monitoring, and assessment with reputable organizations, ideally in the fields of enterprises, health, or education. 3 years or more in a supervisory position.
  • understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research techniques
  • It is necessary to possess proficiency in using data collecting, analysis, and visualization tools such as ODK, Kobo, Advanced MS Excel, SPSS, GIS, and Power BL.
  • Proficiency in analysis and the ability to write reports of high caliber are essential.
  • Proactivity, an optimistic outlook, effective communication abilities, and professional integrity.
