Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP)

A corporate entity, the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP) was founded in the 1980s by Parliamentary Act No. 8.With the primary goal of addressing the qualitative and quantitative skills shortage in the context of sustainable capacity building aimed at eradicating poverty and achieving sustainable development, this Act establishes the legal framework for the Institute to be established as a significant national center for training, research, and consulting services in the field of rural development planning and management.

Since its founding, IRDP has shaped futures through research methods and planning that prioritize the financial security of its students. Graduates holding IRDP credentials have so made significant contributions to their disciplines. They serve as evidence of our distinct approach to training and learning techniques.

Open Positions and Description

1. Assistant Lecture (Economics)

Responsibilities:

  • To instruct students at NTA level 8, or bachelor’s degree;
  • To get instructional materials ready for tutorial tasks;
  • To carry out case studies, seminars, and research.

Qualifications:

  • Possessing both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in economics, the candidate must have earned at least 3.5 and 3.8 points, respectively, in their undergraduate and master’s degrees.

2. Tutorial Assistant (Statistics)

Responsibilities:

  • Providing instruction up to NTA level 6 (Ordinary Diploma);
  • To carry out case studies, lectures, and research
  • To perform community service and consulting work under supervision
  • To oversee the work completed by students;
  • To design an instruction manual.
