Under the name Mzinga Ordinance Factory, Mzinga Corporation was founded in January 1974 as a Project under the Tanzania People Defence Forces Headquarters (TPDF).

Government Establishment Order No. 219 officially recognized the Mzinga TPDF Project as a Public Corporation on September 13, 1974. As a result, Mzinga TPDF Project was renamed Present Mzinga Corporation.

Open Positions and Description

1. Marketing Officer II

Responsibilities:

  • To document newly issued work orders.
  • To document completed tasks.
  • To raise customer proforma bills.
  • To draft delivery notes prior to the buyer receiving the products.
  • To carry out daily sales and documentation.
  • To keep track of the client’s order book.
  • To keep track of consumer sales.
  • To send out proforma bills.
  • To guarantee prompt payment from clients.
  • To keep the clientele, keep a complaint log.
  • To carry out daily sales and documentation.
  • To carry out any additional relevant tasks that are delegated by a supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Holder of a Form Four Certificate and a Bachelor’s degree with a major in marketing from an accredited university, or an equivalent degree from another recognized institution in one of the following fields: marketing, entrepreneurship, commerce, or business administration.

SALARY SCALE:  PGSS 6

2. Artisan II (Pattern Making and Foundry)

Responsibilities:

  • To create patterns and interpret detailed drawings.
  • To prepare patterns as needed in order to create various sections or components.
  • Moving foundry supplies and tidying up workspaces.
  • Melting metal, adding metal to molds, and taking the casts out of the molds;

Requirements:

  • In possession of a Form Four certificate, a CBET Level II certificate, or a Trade Test Grade II certificate in Foundry and Pattern Making.
