Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE)

The Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) is part of the University of Dar es Salaam, which was founded in 2005. The College’s primary responsibilities are to provide integrated teaching, research, and public services, as stated in the 2010 Rules and Dar es Salaam University College of Education Charter.

To enhance research, public service delivery, and teaching at DUCE, the College invites qualified public officials to apply for transfer.

Responsibilities:

To compile management and basic statistical reports;
In order to save and retrieve inventory data;
To evaluate and analyze information in order to create a plan;
To gather and methodically put together information regarding college events;
To gather information on the origins, uses, and expenses of relevant cost centers’ financial resources;
Creating profiles that compile the statistics on resources and activities that are currently available for each department, faculty, and institute;
Combining and analyzing data types as a foundation for creating a plan;
To go to meetings of certain boards, such as those for the library, health center, etc.; and
To carry out any additional relevant tasks that the supervisor may prescribe.

Qualifications:

Possess a bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: statistics, project planning and management, educational planning, economics, agricultural economics and agribusiness, or comparable training from accredited universities and at least four years of relevant work experience.
