The implementation of comprehensive security measures by the Head of Security is crucial in ensuring the safety of the livestock activities on the sisal farm. This position is in charge of creating, maintaining, and supervising security procedures that guarantee the safety of resources, perimeters, people, and animals while abiding by regional laws and ordinances. You will respond to all emergencies, make sure that day and night patrols are carried out, and keep an eye on CCTV surveillance systems while operating on a 24-hour call basis. You collaborate with the HR and Legal departments when it comes to the disciplinary procedures. You answer directly to management.

Open Positions and Description:
1. Head Of Stores And Procurement – 1 POST
- Oversee and manage every facet of shop operations, including the timely receipt and distribution of merchandise.
- Innovative Procurement: Make use of creative ways to get farm supplies, making sure that oils, lubricants, and other essentials are used as efficiently as possible while preserving departmental and workshop productivity.
- Improving stock management will guarantee effective inventory management. Improve stock entries and record accuracy.
- Organization Maintenance: To make items easily accessible and to expedite processes, keep the store area neat and orderly.
- Verify the authenticity of requisitions to make sure that only essential products are acquired.
- Usage Verification: To reduce waste and misuse, confirm the usage of supplies like cutting discs, welding rods, and lubricant that you have requested from retailers.
- Diesel Issuance and Monitoring: To maximize use, periodically check on the consumption of farm implements and issue diesel as needed.
- Strategic Sourcing: Locate supplies required by several divisions, such as building materials, building medications, and spare parts, while guaranteeing reasonable prices and convenient terms of payment.
- Streamlining the procurement process: To get competitive rates and cut costs, build partnerships with a chosen group of wholesalers to streamline the process.
- FIFO Compliance: To guarantee appropriate product rotation and avoid spoiling or obsolescence, implement and enforce a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system.
Requirements:
- 3 years or more of minimum work experience combined with a diploma in accounting or a related field. a high school diploma or degree in material management, supplier management, or procurement
- Proficiency with Tally and Quick Book, among other MS Office programs.
- Interpersonal and communication abilities that work.
2. Head of Security – 1 POST
Duties and Responsibilities
Physical security management:
- Create and put into place security policies and procedures to protect livestock and agricultural assets, particularly from possible incursions by Maasai cattle, goats, and other animals.
- Keep an eye on and manage entry points, gates, and fences that are part of access control systems.
- To guarantee the safety of the property and the regions used for animals, conduct routine patrols.
- Work together with the necessary departments to identify security threats and put the right controls in place.
Qualification and Experience
- A minimum of two years of verified work experience in a comparable or higher level.
- Holder of a diploma in security management and a Form 6 certificate.
- Demonstrated expertise with the necessary security gear and technologies, including CCTV.
- An advantage would be working knowledge of agriculture or livestock husbandry, as well as confirmation of security training or courses.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
3. Account Clerk – 1 POST
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter financial data accurately into databases, spreadsheets, and accounting programs like Tally, ERP, and Quick Book.
- Keep track of and update your financial documents, including transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciling disparities and confirming entries will help to ensure the correctness and integrity of financial data.
Requirements:
- Two years or more of minimal job experience combined with a diploma in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency with Quick Book, Tally, ERP, and other accounting tools, as well as MS Office applications.
- Interpersonal and communication abilities that work.
- Capacity to manage several projects at once and operate autonomously.
