1. Marketing Officer
Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing effective marketing and sales strategies to meet and exceed objectives.
- Identifying and developing new business prospects in the sustainable solar energy industry.
- Identify possible business prospects.
- Create and maintain content for promotional products such as brochures, websites, social media, and commercials.
- Conducting market research to stay informed on industry trends and rival actions.
- Keeping up with improvements in solar technology and industry regulations.
2. Sales Engineers – 2 Positions
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Offer technical assistance to potential consumers by offering extensive product information and demonstrations.
- Help in the development of technical presentations and proposals.
- Understand the demands of your customers and adjust your solutions accordingly. This entails doing site visits and evaluations to verify solutions are viable and beneficial.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to build strategies to enter new markets.Working with the marketing team to develop attractive sales materials.
- Prepare extensive sales and technical documents, such as proposals, reports, and specifications.
- Maintain a record of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Developing and maintaining strong working connections with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or equivalent, as well as experience with commercial marketing and sales.
- Proven knowledge and experience in selling solar goods, with a track record of success.Proficiency in English and Swahili, as well as strong interpersonal abilities.Persuasion and deal-closing skills.
- In-depth understanding of solar energy goods and services. • Be familiar with industry norms and standards.
- Must have a cooperation spirit with minimal supervision and the capacity to work quickly, independently, and properly.
- Must maintain a pleasant mood and cooperative outlook.
- The role is headquartered in Dar es Salaam and requires the willingness to travel both inside the country and abroad as needed.
- Travel may be required for client meetings, conferences, and other business-related events.
