Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE)

The Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) is a division of the University of Dar es Salaam, which was founded in 2005. Dar es Salaam University College of Education Charter and the 2010 Regulations state that the College’s primary responsibilities are providing integrated teaching, research, and public services.

The College encourages qualified public servants to apply for transfer in order to enhance public service delivery, research, and teaching at DUCE.

Responsibilities:

Taking part in the yearly internal audit program;
To take part in the initial analysis of the survey;
To take part in the evaluation of the governance, risk management, and internal control systems;
To take part in an audit of a development project;
To take part in the creation of the internal audit report and appropriately monitor the decisions made during the audit;
To take part in the gathering and evaluation of management reaction;
To take part in the audit’s implementation and follow-up;
Taking part in the assessment of resource utilization’s value for money; and
To carry out any additional relevant tasks that the supervisor assigns.

Qualifications:

Holder of an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: business administration, finance, accounting, or finance with a major in either; or holder of an Intermediate Certificate (Module D) from the NBAA with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience.
