Bugando Medical Training College (BMTC)
The BMTC College is looking for qualified candidates to hire and integrate into order to provide strong leadership and help the College achieve its goals. The college is situated in Musoma Municipality’s Bweri neighborhood, roughly 0.5 km north of the Bweri Bus Terminal and 1 km southwest of the town center.
For the following posts, the College is accepting applications from adequately qualified candidates:
Open Positions and Description:
1. Pharmacist – 4 POSTS
Qualification
- Possessing a pharmacy bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Both a practicing license and registration with the appropriate professional board are prerequisites. More weight will be given to candidates who have completed the CBET Training or the Teaching Methodology Course for Health Care Professionals.
2. Laboratory Scientist – 4 POSTS
Qualification
- Possessing a medical laboratory sciences bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Both a practicing license and registration with the appropriate professional board are prerequisites. More weight will be given to candidates who have completed the CBET Training or the Teaching Methodology Course for Health Care Professionals.
3. Environmental Health Scientist – 4 POSTS
Qualification:
- Holder of an accredited university’s bachelor’s degree in environmental health sciences. Both a practicing license and registration with the appropriate professional board are prerequisites.
4. Technicians for PST, CMT, EHS and MLT – 4 POSTS
Qualification
- Possessor of an Ordinary Diploma from an accredited university or institution in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences, clinical medicine, environmental health sciences, and medical laboratory sciences, respectively. Both a practicing license and registration with the appropriate professional board are prerequisites.
5. Social Welfare Officers – 4 POSTS
Qualification
- Holder of bachelor degree in Social Work from a recognized University.
6. Community Development Officer – 4 POSTS
Qualification
- Holder of bachelor degree in Community Development from a recognized University.
7. Health Record Officer – 4 POSTS
Qualification: Holder of bachelor degree in Health Record & Information Technology from a recognized University.
8. Computer Analyst – 4 POSTS
Qualification
- Holder of bachelor degree in Computer Sciences from a recognized University.
9. Accountant – 1 POST
Qualification
- Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy or Accounting and Finance or Professional Module C and D of NBAA plus ICT skills from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience:
- With a minimum of three (3) years working experience in tertiary education institutions.
10. Accounts Assistant – 1 POST
Qualification
- Holder of Form IV/VI Certificate with NABE III/ATEC II/Diploma in Accountancy/Module A and B plus ICT skills from a recognized University/Institution.
11. Game Coach – 1 POST
Qualification
- Holder of Bachelor degree in physical education with a major in sports from a recognized University/Institution.
12. Marketing and Communication Officer – 2 POSTS
Qualification
Holder of College Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or any degree in social Sciences with a major in communication from a recognized University.
13. Office Assistant / Gardener – 10 POSTS
Qualification:
- Holders of Form IV Certificate with three (3) years relevant working experience and appropriate certificate from VETA or any recognized institute.
14. Office Management Secretary – 1 POST
Qualification
- Form VI certificate OR Form IV certificate credit passes in both English and Kiswahili, along with sixty words per minute of typing speed, 120 w.p.m. shorthand in either language, stage III tabulation and manuscript, stage II secretarial duties and office procedure, and a diploma in secretarial studies from an accredited institution.
15. Library Assistant – 1 POST
Qualification:
– Holder of Form IV or Form VI Certificate with Diploma in Library and Information Studies.
16. Computer Programmer / Systems Analyst – 1 POST
Qualification
- Holders of B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Telecommunication, Electronics, or related computer studies.
