All source systems and targeted repositories’ conceptual and logical database models must be designed, developed, optimized, and maintained in this capacity.
To support enterprise data management, business intelligence, machine learning, data science, and other data-related initiatives, CRDB Bank PLC the successful candidate will be required to design, implement, and document data architecture and data modeling solutions, which will involve the use of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
Open Positions and Description:
1. Specialist; Data Integrations and Modelling (2968) – Tanzania
responsibilities:
- For every data asset, create conceptual and logical data models.
- Create a data mapping to every table and field in the source systems that hold data assets.
- Examine the structural data needs for new programs and software.
- Create plans for moving data from outdated systems to the new ones.
- Create logical and conceptual flowcharts and data models.
- Apply innovative data strategies and designs to all data platforms (dimensional, NoSQL, and relational) and data tools (reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning) in order to fulfill business and IT data requirements.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from an approved university in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field that is comparable and applicable.
- A minimum of three years of practical expertise with relational, dimensional, analytical, and/or data designs and modeling (using RDBMS, dimensional, NoSQL data platform technologies, as well as ETL and data ingestion methods).
- Familiarity with business data systems.
- Strong familiarity with data modeling, metadata management, and associated technologies (ER Studio, Erwin, and others).
- Proficiency in relational database design, data management, and data formats, table joins, and ETL.
- Proficiency in a variety of technologies and programming languages related to data architecture, data warehousing, master data management, enterprise information integration, and ETL
