Open Positions and Description:

1. Senior Accounts Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise accountants in verifying, allocating, posting and reco and receivables
  • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results Analyze financial information and summarize financial status Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spendi Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems a Manage accountants and accounting assistants
  • Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process Provide input into department’s goal setting process.

2. Marketing and Relationship Supervisor (Farmer)

Responsibilities

  • Implement farmer recruitment strategies
  • Establish Farmers harvest calendar for three months
  • Coordinate farming contracts for farmers in key areas
  • Develop and Lead farmer relationship strategies
  • Conduct a survey for farmers to understand their perception, satisfaction and develop trends
  • Ensure consistency and supply of quality farm produce through training farmers on Climate Smart agriculture (CSA)
  • Develop Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Publicity activities for farmers
  • Coordinate partnerships with value adding organizations in order to ensure farmers get necessary service for crop production prior planting and after harvest. (Farmer input partnerships)

3. Operations Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Examining sales invoices to make sure that all data, such as customer details, product descriptions, quantities, and prices, is correct and comprehensive and that the invoices are recorded in DMS/Sokochap
  • Comparing client payments to sales invoices to guarantee that all accounts in DMS/Sokochap are correctly balanced. This entails verifying that payments have been settled in DMS/Sokochap following verification in Tigo and/or Voda collection wallets, and that payments have been matched to invoices by customer name, invoice number, or payment amount.
  • Confirming that no VAT has been levied by looking through the VFD reports. If not, inform the same as soon as possible so that action can be taken.
  • Looking into and fixing any inconsistencies in sales transactions. This could entail getting in touch with clients, salespeople, or other divisions to acquire more data.

4. Credit Collection Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Notifying clients by phone that their accounts are past due.
  • Advising clients on available payment alternatives and making payment suggestions. arranging reasonable payment schedules.
  • Keeping track of client payments.
  • Preparing bills, credit balance information, and client invoices.
  • sending clients final notice letters if payments are not received. filing a lawsuit against clients who don’t pay their bills.
  • Coordinate with the company’s attorneys to provide legal counsel that will enable payments. answering questions from clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client information, including contacts, addresses, and points of contact. Establish a policy for credit qualification and initiation.
  • Establish and manage internal credit limit guidelines.
  • Data and analysis on trends in credit and liabilities for clients.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline At least one (1) year of credit collection experience is required.
  • A strong command of both written and spoken Kiswahili and English, as well as an understanding of general accounting principles
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of general credit management and collection knowledgeable about pertinent computer programs
