Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA)
Creates, executes, and maintains strategies and tactics to guarantee that aircraft components and other maintenance supplies for Precision Air and Third-Party Customers are obtained and delivered at the best possible price while maintaining their legality, control, and safety as required by Precision Air Procedures, TCAA, and/or other relevant Civil Aviation Regulations and Tanzanian laws.
Additionally in charge of managing the Technical Warehouse on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- The overall administrative duties, daily supervision and control of the technical materials warehouse, staff discipline and control, work prioritization for direct report personnel, and daily supervision of the warehouse section
- Make sure that aeronautical parts, materials, tools, and equipment are managed for receipt, storage, issuance, return, and dispatch.
- Manage the system for rotating components and make sure that AOG and MEL items are available in accordance with the relevant list(s) for each kind of aircraft.
- Make certain that supplies, tools, and equipment, both aeronautical and non-aeronautical, are available in a timely and economical manner.
- Establish and administer a procedure for managing warranties for tools, equipment, and parts used in aviation.

- Prompt request, which results in stock availability and satisfaction
- Warehouse Arrangement producing no results
- Stock count results in accurate and timely reports.
- Minimum stock levels in the event of shortages and expenses
- Routine inventory control
- Adherence to standards, safety, and quality measures
- Accuracy of inventory
- Minimum stock levels: a follow-up
- Prompt delivery of essential things
- Entire stock.
Qualification Required:
- Four (4) years of airline experience, two of which must be in material management, plus a university degree in supplies/materials management, or an equivalent from an accredited university.
- Five (5) years of airline experience, three of which must be at a senior level, along with an advanced certificate in supplies/materials management or its equivalent from an accredited school, and registration with the Procurement, Supplies Professional and Technicians Board (PSTB)
- A certificate from the Procurement, Supplies and Technician Board (PSPTB) or an equal
- Completed the aviation spares handling training with success
- Completed the fire safety course with success
- Outstanding proficiency in computers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as dependable, sincere, and dedicated work ethics.
