The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), established in 1945, is the football administrative and controlling body throughout the Tanzania Mainland territory and protects its members’ interests. TFF has the following vacancy for which suitably qualified Tanzanians are invited to apply.
Post Title: Manager- Procurement Management
Duty Station: TFF, Dares Salaam.
Reporting to the General Secretary
Manager-Procurement Management will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency and timely performance of procurement functions in the Federation.
Responsibilities:
- To organize and supervise the creation and execution of yearly programs for disposal and procurement.
- Organize the compilation and examination of recurring reports for tenders.
- To guarantee that procurement complies with TFF rules and specifications.
- Organize, examine, and assess the requirements for procurement; provide suitable substitute methods.
- The planning, drafting, and evaluation of tender bidding documents.
- To complete the task of reviewing, validating, and organizing tender assessment results.
- To confirm the legitimacy of invoices and payment certificates.
- Organize the creation and evaluation of policies pertinent to the procurement function.
- To organize and compile recurring reports on the performance of the unit.
- To manage and direct subordinates.
- To carry out any additional responsibilities that may be delegated by superiors.
Qualifications:
- possessing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines: business administration, procurement and supplies management, material management, procurement and logistics management, or equivalent training from accredited universities.
- Five (5) years or more of work experience in a similar sector.
- Additionally, one must be registered with PSPTB in the Authorized Procurement and Supplies Professional Category and possess Certified Procurement and Supplies Professional (CPSP) or its equivalent.
- Proficiency with the use of information and communications technology (ICT).
Terms of Service: A contract of two years is renewable, subject to performance.
Remuneration: TFF, which offers competitive remuneration. The remuneration is subjected to regular taxation and other statutory deductions.
