Key responsibilities

  • In charge of promptly identifying, evaluating, mitigating, reporting, and elevating any operational and compliance risk exposures that are found.
  • As per the company Unit annual RCA plan, hold workshops with the company to analyze risks and controls.
  • Stay informed about and comprehend the applicable laws and rules that pertain to the corporate entity.
  • Keep an eye on adherence to internal policies and procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Using thorough reports, inform management and the board about the company’s adherence to legal requirements and other compliance hazards.
  • Take part in creating and reviewing the policies and procedures inside the organization.
  • Work together with other departments to establish a compliance culture.
  • Make ensuring that KYC and AML policies are implemented and followed.
  • Make sure suspicious transactions are reported promptly and effectively.

Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, actuarial science, or a similar discipline
  • An extra benefit in risk management is accreditation.
  • Two to four years of experience in risk management and/or compliance
  • Experience in compliance risk management in the banking or insurance industries is beneficial.
  • A legal background will be advantageous.
