JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT VOLUNTEER CONTRACT
The Iringa Regional Referral Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer today announces the following five Assistant Nurse Grade II vacancies to Tanzanians who meet the requirements and are ready to serve there under a volunteer contract: –
Assistant Nurse Grade II – 05 Positions
Qualifications:
- Must possess a minimum of two (2) years of nursing diploma from a college approved by the government and registered with Tanzania’s Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Responsibilities:
- Giving nursing assistance.
- Gathering vital health data.
- Overseeing nurses in a lower position.
- Educating the public and patients about their health concerns.
- Providing maternity and preventative care.
- Carrying out other tasks as delegated by the Chief Nurse in accordance with their training, qualifications, and experience.
General Conditions:
- Must be a Tanzanian national.
- Age requirements: 18 to 45 years old.
- Must hold a Form IV certificate attesting to the completion of secondary education at the ordinary level.
- A certificate of proficiency in the relevant field and registration with the Tanzanian Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) are prerequisites.
- Must possess a current nursing license (Current License).
- A birth certificate, ID card, or identification number (NIDA) should be attached. Filing false paperwork will lead to legal action. Those who apply and fit the requirements will be invited to an interview.
Pay: Successful candidates will receive a contract for three months and be compensated in accordance with the terms of the Employer’s agreement.

- The letter of application.
- A copy of the NIDA and birth certificate.
- A duplicate of the Form Four certification.
- Copies of the nursing license (TNMC), curriculum vitae (CV), and professional certificates (transcript and certificate).
- Two current passport-size pictures.
