The first and only full-scale production facility of its kind was opened by BURN in Kenya in 2014. In sub-Saharan Africa, BURN Manufacturing is now the sole vertically integrated manufacturer of contemporary cookstoves. With a capacity of 400,000 stoves every month, the solar-powered facility now employs over 2,500 workers, half of whom are women.
BURN is seeking an Agent Care Officer. This person will be in charge of supporting and assisting agents or reps, making sure they have the tools, direction, and well-being care they need to perform their jobs properly and offer first-rate customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Daily administration of the agent network, including agent calls, sales operations interface, reconciliation, and commercial
- Agent engagement is achieved by gathering field input from agents, managing the resolution of open agent tickets, and using performance data from sales operations.
- Assure the upstream and downward flow of information pertaining to agents.
- Make sure that all agent concerns are gathered by the agent care officers and reported to the TSMs and TLs on a daily basis.
- Make ensuring that all agent care activities are tracked and reported on.
- Lead the effort to clean up the database by coordinating PJPs (Personal Journey Plans) for each agent and TSM (Territory Sales Manager) through the agent care officers.
- Make sure the group is using calls to mentor and teach agents on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in project management, environmental science, business, the arts, or a similar discipline.
- Three years or more of minimum experience in sales assistance, ideally in the solar, clean cooking, or similar environmental areas.
- Competent speaker
- Effective organizer and team member
