AFROIL is an oil marketing company that was founded in October 2008 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Fuel product distribution, transportation, and importation are the main areas of company concentration.

nA Tanzanian family owns the entire business, which was founded with the goal of giving the nation improved gasoline supply services. More than 20 service stations make up the retail network of AFROIL, which employs over 300 people.

The Office Automation Specialist at AFROIL Investment Group is a key role focused on optimizing office processes through the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions. This position plays a critical role in enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the use of software tools, with a specific focus on office automation applications

Responsibilities

  • Find ways to automate office tasks and suggest appropriate software programs.
  • As you use and manage automation systems, make sure they support the objectives of the company.
  • To improve business operations, integrate and modify software programs like Tally, SAP ERP, Microsoft Office, HR software, and PetroCard.
  • Work together with the IT team to guarantee a smooth interaction with other platforms.
  • End users should receive training on office automation tools and best practices.
  • Provide continuing assistance to resolve user questions, solve problems, and maximize system performance.
  • To improve communication and information sharing, implement and administer folder-sharing management systems using AD services and/or other tools.
  • Make sure electronic papers are accessible and secure.
  • Examine current processes and suggest ways to make them better with automation.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline.
  • A track record of successfully installing and maintaining office automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of Tally, SAP ERP, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and other pertinent office programs.
  • Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
