In order to manage, operate, and maintain the organization’s computer center’s hardware, software, systems, and related infrastructure, the applicant must offer technical services.
Responsibilities:
- Create, set up, and oversee the IT infrastructure of the business, which includes the servers, networks, storage, and virtual environment.
- Maintain optimal efficiency and minimum downtime by keeping an eye on system performance and troubleshooting any emerging technical difficulties.
- Work together with suppliers and other IT personnel to determine the infrastructure requirements and provide creative ideas for improving operations.
- To make sure that industry standards and data protection procedures are being followed, conduct routine system assessments and security audits.
- By using proactive capacity planning, performance control, and configuration modification, you can guarantee enterprise scalability and performance for servers, storage, and backup environments.
- Assuming accountability for determining and suggesting suitable infrastructure modifications to enhance availability, performance, capacity, security, and dependability.
- Keep abreast with technology developments and market trends to offer innovative solutions and promote ongoing progress.
Candidate Specification
- A bachelor’s degree in a comparable discipline or in information and communication technology.
- Five years minimum of experience using IT systems.
- proficiency with virtualization technologies, servers, storage systems, and network management and optimization.
- Strong familiarity with virtualization technologies, including Microsoft Hyper-V KVM, VMware ESXi, Proxmox, Citrix, etc.
- Needs to be well-versed in the principles of Docker networking, container orchestration technologies, and Docker core ideas.
- Competent with a variety of operating systems, including Linux and Windows, and knowledgeable about cloud computing platforms (such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Others).
- Strong familiarity with Office 365 tools and applications from Microsoft.
- Strong familiarity with network area networks (NAS) and a solid grasp of file sharing protocols, including NFS, FTP, SFTP, SMB, and SCP,
- Strong familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and the capacity to put effective security measures in place.
- Strong networking abilities and previous Next-Gen Firewall (NGFW) expertise, ideally with Fortinet and Sophos.
- Outstanding ability to solve problems and pay close attention to details.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
