We are seeking an Accountant to join our team that is meticulous and extremely motivated. The ideal applicant will be highly analytical, have a solid foundation in accounting principles, and be able to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Produce financial analyses and reports to aid in management decision-making;
- Handle transactions related to accounts payable and accounts receivable with precision and promptness.
- Adjust the balances of the accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Gathering and examining account data can help you prepare capital, liability, and asset account entries.
- aid in the creation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis;
- Check and balance payments, bills, and invoices against the supporting records;
- Enter financial transactions into the system of accounting;
- preparing tax returns, making sure tax laws are followed, and helping with tax queries and audits;
- Maintain the general ledger and make sure all transactions are accurately documented, reconciled, and maintained.
- Carry out monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to guarantee precision and thoroughness;
- Keep abreast of modifications to tax rules and regulations that could affect the company;
- Examine financial data and trends to find areas where resources may be mobilized and expenses can be reduced.
- When directed by management, create ad hoc financial reports and analyses;
- Offer analysis and suggestions to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of finances.
- assist internal and external audits with necessary justifications and accompanying evidence;
- Verify adherence to audit specifications and put suggestions for process enhancements into practice.

Qualifications:
- At least four years of professional expertise in finance and accounting are required of the candidate.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting, or an equivalent degree, will be beneficial;
- Hold a professional qualification in accounting, such as an ACCA, CPA, etc.;
- Familiarity with accounting software and computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
