Associated Breweries Limited was the original name of SBL when it was formed in 1988. It started conducting business in 1996 with a single brewery in Dar es Salaam and changed its name to Serengeti Breweries Limited in 2002. Following its acquisition by EABL in October 2010, the company now operates three breweries: one in Dar es Salaam, one in Mwanza, and one in Moshi.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining the plant (including the machinery and infrastructure).
- Oversee shift operations on your own (including packing, ETP, brewing, and all utilities).
- Recognize and manage the asset care KPIs as well as the utility KPIs for co2, energy (such as steam, electricity, and air), and water use.
- Carries out maintenance plans and advises planners of any additions or modifications that should be made to enhance plant upkeep.
- Efficiently and safely carry out repairs, maintenance, and Finish 5why to find the root cause as soon as the breakdown is fixed.
- Teach technical operators the necessary skills.Make sure that all safety regulations are followed to the letter in the workplace.
- Any additional tasks as assigned by the HOD, Team Lead, or Supervisor to guarantee that we fulfill the legal, performance, and safety criteria.
Qualifications:
- For mechanical technicians, a minimum of a BSc in engineering
Experience:
- Three or more years’ worth of process engineering experience.
- Knowledge of industrial maintenance procedures.
