A parastatal educational establishment, the Institute of Accountancy Arusha provides undergraduate and graduate training courses. It is situated in Njiro Hill, seven kilometers southeast of Arusha City, and was founded by the Institute of Accountancy Arusha Act No. 1 of 1990.
The Arusha and Babati Campuses of the Institute of Accountancy Arusha are currently accepting applications from capable and qualified candidates for the following positions:
Responsibilities:
- Will oversee projects relating to construction as the project manager.
- In cooperation with the implementation team, award performance and completion certificates.
- Plan site visits and write a report.
- Make a materials schedule.
- Collaborate with PMU to guarantee prompt labor and material delivery.
- Report construction-related issues to management
- Reduce building costs and make sure value for money is maintained throughout the project
- Oversee members of the implementation team and the technical team.
- Maintain a high standard of compliance and collaborate closely with other stakeholders and governmental bodies.
- Oversee the BOQ and other construction-related paperwork.
- Create a construction budget.
- Follow the force account guidelines when implementing the project.
- In creating technical paperwork for bids in accordance with the specifications of the Engineering Section.
- Create structural requirements and calculations for both above-ground and underground structures made of stone, masonry, steel, and reinforced concrete.
- Evaluates project ideas to make whether they are technically feasible and that the goals can be achieved with the available resources.
- Apply force account to construction project implementation.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Bachelor of Science student in Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying from an accredited university.
- Must hold a valid Engineering Registration Board professional registration.
- Using the force account technique and having project management abilities will be advantageous.
- Programming requires familiarity with Microsoft Project.
- Having a master’s degree and experience with project management will be beneficial.
- It is preferable to be familiar with force account guidelines and their application.
Working Experience:
- Must provide verifiable proof of prior construction sector job experience;
- At least three years of experience working in a busy firm that does civil engineering;

- Relevant copies of all academic transcripts and certifications, including Form IV and VI certificates and birth certificates, must be sent with each application.
