Undergraduate and graduate training courses are offered by the Institute of Accountancy Arusha, a parastatal educational institution. The Institute of Accountancy Arusha Act No. 1 of 1990 established it, and it is located on Njiro Hill, seven kilometers southeast of Arusha City.

Open Positions and Description

1. Site Engineer – 2 POSTS (1 Arusha and 1 Babati)

Responsibilities:

  • Examine facilities and conduct operational data analysis.
  • Continue to abide by safety and legal requirements.
  • Create estimates for the material and technical needs needed to develop the project.
  • Calculate and provide an estimate of the operating expenses.
  • Make technical design and process modifications suggestions to increase effectiveness and performance.
  • Put new designs and procedures into practice.
  • Examine the substance and soundness of the structure.
  • Examine how projects affect the environment.
  • Design plans should include sustainable and eco-friendly elements.
  • Create and deliver reports that give non-technical stakeholders an explanation of the project’s specifics.
  • Keep an eye on the project’s development, adherence to safety regulations, and design specifications.
  • Oversee engineering operations; delegate responsibilities, offer guidance and assistance.
  • To fulfill project deadlines, create work schedules and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work together with management to match actions to intended business results.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as construction, building, civil or structural engineering.
  • A certification or engineering license from the state.
  • Substantial background in a related role.
  • Thorough understanding of architecture, technology, engineering, construction, and design.
  • Knowledgeable in both graphics and map development software and scientific analysis software.
  • A track record of success in managing material and human resources.
  • Strong project and time management abilities.
  • Capacity to solve issues by scientific methods.
  • Commitment to acquiring new knowledge and techniques.

Working Experience:

  • Must provide verifiable proof of prior construction sector job experience;
  • At least three years of experience working in a busy firm that does civil engineering;

Nature of Employment – Contract.
