Accountable for the NMB Bank mobile banking product performance, development, and management while maintaining product profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Creating, carrying out, and overseeing the project schedule and plan for Mkononi, the bank’s main digital product.
- Before a new mobile banking feature is made public, make sure branches and other important stakeholders are properly informed, trained, and made aware of it.
- Make sure the features of any new mobile banking products are authorized, compliant with laws and regulations, have a customer-centric design, and are priced in accordance with industry norms.
- Keep an eye on the mobile banking platform, report any new product developments, and make sure all of this is in keeping with the bank’s budget, targets, and projections.
- Analyze, monitor, and pinpoint any system flaws that impact the functionality of the mobile banking platform. Next, recommend areas for improvement, secure approvals for those changes, and make sure that the accepted modifications are put into effect on schedule.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business, banking, or finance-related field
- Any instruction or training in the creation of digital or mobile applications is beneficial.
- Five years of expertise in the fields of innovation, digital goods, and/or mobile financial services.
- Solid knowledge of the trends and technologies pertaining to mobile applications.
