NMB Bank Plc. (“NMB”) is a full-service commercial bank located in Tanzania. NMB provides a range of financial services and products to individual customers, farmers, SMEs, businesses, institutions, and the government through its three primary business divisions: retail, wholesale, and Treasury.
In charge of managing the Core Banking Systems’ end of day (EOD) procedure. Assistance branches to guarantee a seamless day’s end, and Head office to guarantee all business units process their batches punctually and no unresolved issue remains before the Head office EOD Run.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming EOD inquiries from branches and central office; if a complex situation arises, escalate it to level 2.
- Run the EOD batch actively and make sure it is finished within the allotted time.
- Before branches or businesses open for business, activate the login time level to make sure CBS users can access the system.
- Limit user access to the CBS system to prevent users from logging in during prohibited times, hence preventing fraud situations.
- Resolve EOD-related incidents and check in to my Oracle support site to report any problems that require third-level support.
- Make sure the system is performing well by refreshing the CBS application before permitting all users to log in.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science
- Outstanding computer and technological abilities
- Two years or more of banking experience, or any familiarity with batch processing.
