Kinondoni Municipal Council Football Club (KMC FC)

The Kinondoni Municipal Council Football Club (KMC FC), a registered limited company under The Companies Act of 2002, is owned by the council. The KMC FC is one of the sports teams competing in the National Premier League.

The Dar es Salaam Region is composed of five councils, one of which is the Kinondoni Municipal Council. The others are the City Council of Dar es Salaam, Ubungo, Kigamboni, and the Temeke Municipal Council. In compliance with the Urban Authorities (City Authorities) Act, Chapter 288, the Office of the President, Regional Administration, and Local Governments established the Kinondoni Municipal Council as an independent body under Government Notice No. 4 of 2000.

Responsibilities:

In order to compile financial reports.
In order to get ready for a bank reconciliation;
To keep track of and handle financial transactions.
In order to keep the Fixed Assets Register current, additionally
To carry out any additional relevant tasks that the Supervisor may prescribe.

Qualifications:

B.A. holders in any of the following disciplines: accounting, finance, commerce, or business administration with a focus on accounting or finance, or equivalent training from accredited universities; also required: possession of a CPA (T), ACCA, ACA, or other professional credentials accepted by the NBAA and registered as an accountant.
