Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the laundry and housekeeping departments to guarantee that quality requirements are fulfilled.
- Make sure the department is run in compliance with all rules and the hotel’s standards and procedures.
- Offers competent, courteous, and timely guest services.
- Give the general manager or supervisor feedback on time.
- Maintain a high quality of tidiness, hygiene, and cleanliness in all of the public spaces, hallways, and rooms.
- Assigning rooms to housekeeping personnel and providing responsible guidance, delegation, and control to them.
- Help with staff training and make sure they have the tools and supplies necessary to do their jobs well.
- Verify that all designated rooms and common areas have clean, well-maintained furniture, appliances, and bedding.
Qualifications:
- Communication and Supervisory Skills
- Familiarity with washing and housekeeping
- Skills in customer service
- Strong organizing and detail-oriented abilities
- Capacity to function well in a group
- Awareness of hygienic and safety regulations
- Prior hospitality industry experience is advantageous.
- A high school diploma or its equivalent.
