An enthusiastic Assistant Project Coordinator (Intern) is being sought by Restless Development Tanzania, with a base in Iringa, Tanzania. This person will be essential to the direction of the Vijana Twaweza Project, which aims to enhance the financial and personal security of young people in the Region.
Responsibilities:
- Providing access to financial resources, encouraging the growth of youth-led businesses, and offering and supporting entrepreneurship training.
- In addition, the position entails monitoring advancement, working with partners, and making sure financial policies are followed.

Experience:
- A minimum of two years of technical and practical knowledge and experience in group companies, agribusiness, VSLA, and poultry and horticulture farming would be advantageous.
- Experience interacting with adolescents in Tanzania
- Shown leadership abilities together with excellent networking and coordination abilities
- Respectful and cognizant of cultural differences – inquisitive and perceptive about the societies in which we work
- Knowledge, skills and experience in participatory methods, community development and partnership
- Commitment to Restless development mission and values

Desirable:
- A graduate degree in horticulture, poultry farming, agribusiness, or a related field of study, or comparable work experience
- Fluent in Kiswahili and English, both written and spoken
- A strong sense of personal dedication to the principles of Restless Development and the contribution of youth
- Self-driven, trustworthy, extremely responsible, and reliable person
- A robust network of contacts in Tanzania, particularly in Ifakara TC and Iringa MC
- Capacity to collaborate well in multicultural teams with a range of origins, experiences, and skill sets
- Cooperative member of the team
- Adaptable: Capable of operating in intricate, strange, and evolving contexts
- Superior analytical and critical thinking abilities, solution-oriented
- Uplifting, vivacious, and capable mindset
- Knowledge of remotely supervising or collaborating with field-based employees
