Supporting the implementation of the ABT Internal Audit Plan in compliance with the pertinent Absa Tanzania policies, processes, and quality standards is the primary duty of an Assistant Internal Audit Manager.
Experience:
- Experience in risk-based auditing or risk/control activities is required for audit responsibilities.
- professional credentials that are pertinent (such as an ACCA, CPA, or similar certification), as well as graduation. A bonus will be having CIA accreditation.
- A practical grasp of the essential regulatory framework
- A demonstrated history of excellence in prior roles
- At least four years of experience in both internal and external auditing, with a minimum requirement of leading audit teams.
Accountability:
- By participating in training courses and applying the knowledge you acquire from audits, you can gain a thorough understanding of the technique and utilize it to your advantage while carrying out audit operations.
- Fulfill the Chief Internal Auditor’s assigned responsibilities with excellence and in compliance with the QAS scorecard’s guidelines.
- Help the Chief Internal Auditor plan and carry out the Design Effectiveness and Operating Effectiveness Testing, adhering consistently to quality standards and procedures, concentrating work on critical risks, and requiring little oversight from the Chief Internal Auditor
- At every audit, cultivate and preserve connections with important audit contacts by regularly attending stakeholder meetings. Engage in close communication with stakeholders throughout assignments, and promote candid dialogue and involvement with businesses regarding environmental risks.
