An International Talent Acquisition Lead is needed by Abt’s Global Talent Acquisition Team. You will oversee a group of talent acquisition partners with regional bases as the International Talent Acquisition Lead.
Furthermore, you will be in charge of putting recruitment strategies into action in order to draw in talent, forging solid alliances with the hiring and proposals teams, assembling a pool of eligible applicants, fostering a thorough comprehension of hiring requirements, creating a robust network of recruiters, and employing a variety of methods in order to find and draw in talent that is representative of the communities that Abt serves.
Responsibilities
- Create, guide, and oversee a local group of Talent Acquisition Partners by providing coaching, striking a balance between business requirements, and promoting professional development and advancement while aiming to optimize contributions.
- Keep track of hiring-related actions and evaluate metrics to make improvements ongoing.
- Coach the team to make sure a range of common and specialized sourcing methods are applied to find a varied and high-caliber candidate pool.
- Work together with business executives and the global talent acquisition manager to proactively identify areas for recruitment to support business growth and to forecast future talent needs.
- Oversee the complete hiring process for essential staff for USAID proposals, including collaborating with proposal teams on personnel strategies as appropriate.
- Oversee the whole hiring process for company home office roles and initiatives supported by donors, primarily USAID, as needed.
Requirements
- Six years of relevant experience after earning a bachelor’s degree or four years of experience after earning a master’s degree
- It is necessary to have prior experience soliciting for proposals from USAID, FCDO, or international development organizations.
- One or more years of experience leading a group of talent acquisition specialists directly.
- Three or more years of proven experience overseeing the entire hiring cycle, including the creation and negotiating of offers.
- Proficiency in utilising Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and innovative sourcing techniques to generate a wide range of potential candidates.
- A readiness to engage in important dialogues with hiring teams and direct reports
- A dedication to working quickly and learning new things.
- Strong command of French, Kiswahili, or Russian is preferred, as well as fluency in English.
