The goal of Africado Ltd.’s establishment in 2007 was to cultivate and export avocados to Europe. Its headquarters are in Sanya Juu, Northern Tanzania, near Kilimanjaro. The fruit-growing estate, Kifufu Estate, is located at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.

We are seeking an experienced human resources officer to support the company’s HR division as well as the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

Scanning, photocopying, and filing of papers.
Staff materials being kept in staff files.
Releasing illness notes.
Enrolling new employees in the SHIB and NSSF health programs.
Minutes of the Workers Committee are filed.
New general labor contracts being issued.
Completing employee leave application forms.
In disciplinary hearings, proper management of employee concerns and complaints is also a factor.
Follow the established processes and notify the HR manager of any serious complaints.
Make sure that every employee follows the company’s policies and procedures.
Wages and payroll
Ensure all employees have bank accounts and are registered with the bank.
Assist payroll clerks in both estates attentively to make sure that all employees’ attendance records are accurately recorded.

Qualification:

Solid experience working as a human resources officer.
Both goal- and people-oriented.
The capacity to work with little direction.
Strong English communication both in writing and speaking.
Human resource bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience working as an HR officer.
