Responsibilities:
- Keeping track of and updating accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable
- payroll preparation and record keeping in the accounting program.
- ensuring the timely filing and payment of statutory payments, such as PAYE, SDL, and VAT
- keeping track of petty funds and filing bank slips, invoices, and receipts
- putting together financial reports.
- Responding to inquiries from outside auditors during yearly audit meetings
- Verify information twice to identify any flaws or missing data, and aim for rigorous adherence and excellent performance;
- Make the appropriate suggestions based on the review’s results to raise the caliber of reporting;
Qualifications:
- An accounting bachelor’s degree or a closely related degree
- Capacity to decipher and evaluate magazines and financial statements
- Proficiency with the Office suite from Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
