At Atlantic Micro Credit, the accountant is essential to maintaining the integrity and authenticity of financial reports and records. They are in charge of overseeing a variety of accounting duties, such as financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and bookkeeping. This role calls for exacting attention to detail, accounting expertise, and a solid grasp of financial concepts and laws.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Recordkeeping: Keep accurate and current records of all financial transactions, such as general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Accounting Reporting:
- Prepare financial reports on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis for management review. Examine financial information to find patterns, outliers, and areas that could use improvement.
- Budget Management: Provide support for the creation and oversight of budgets. As you monitor revenue and expenses against your projected goals, give management regular updates.
