In addition to reacting to client requests by identifying and fixing issues, the Deputy IT Support Officer (DITSO) is in charge of offering help desk support for all workers’ continuing technological demands. They deal with fundamental networking components and a wide variety of infrastructure items. As a team member, they work on one or more projects at once and offer maintenance and support for client products that range in complexity from moderate to highly complicated.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial point of contact and ongoing technical assistance for end users;
  • Responds to IT inquiries from a variety of channels, including email and phone;
  • Adds call information to the tracking database.
  • Communicates politely and professionally with clients.
  • Gives users access to services.
  • Diagnoses issues by weighing several possibilities.
  • Creates scripts and checklists to address common issues.
  • Escalates issues when called for.
  • Records the status and settlement of issues in the tracking log.
  • Participates in the creation of service-level objectives and makes actions to reach or surpass goals.
  • Explains to clients how services are provided.
  • Promptly follows up to make sure the consumer is satisfied.
  • Preserves performance indicators.
  • Drafts, edits, and verifies SOP documentation.
  • Contains answers to often asked inquiries and solutions to common issues.
  • Keep a record of every purchase paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • IT/ITIL v4 Foundation Level Diploma
  • Furthermore: CCNA,

  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Windows 10 experience.
  • Familiarity with a help desk setting.
