To join our team, we are looking to fill the role of accountant. The person will collaborate closely with our internal accountant to guarantee precise financial documentation and assist with a range of accounting duties.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in the creation of reports and financial statements.
- Handle transactions related to accounts receivable and payable.
- Balance credit card accounts and bank statements.
- Participate in year-end and month-end closing processes.
- Keep track of general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
- Help with the processing of payroll and associated tax filings.
- Keep an eye on and settle petty cash transactions.
- Aid in the creation of projections and financial analyses.
- Keep accurate and well-organized financial records and paperwork.
- Work together with other departments to meet their needs and obtain financial data.
- As needed, provide support for audits and other external financial inquiries.
- Any further responsibilities that may be allocated.
Qualifications:
- Accounting or finance experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
- Requires completion of CPA Level 1
- must have worked in the same capacity for at least two years.
- solid grasp of fundamental accounting concepts and procedures.
