Cherry Garments and Safety Solutions Ltd. is a limited company that is authorized to conduct business in Tanzania. It is registered with the Business Registrations and Licensing Agency (BRELA) and was incorporated under the Companies Act of 2002.
Control the flow of goods in and out of the store to guarantee that there is enough inventory to satisfy client demand while cutting down on waste and inefficiencies. Observe inventory management procedures; conduct a monthly inventory count; stock take important or often moved things; determine the duration of use for important items stored; inspect; transport items in an orderly fashion; and identify defective or expired products for disposal as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile stock every week in the store to make sure the appropriate amount is on hand.
- For every inventory item, determine the minimum, maximum, safety stock, and reorder level. To determine inventory replenishment, load the ERP and run the MRP once a week.
- To control shelf life, use the First in First Out (FIFO) inventory approach.
- Verify the expiration date of products that are sensitive to dates and assist with product removal or transfer as necessary.
- Stock should be arranged, products should be labeled, and item movements should be updated.
- Get rid of any defective or expired merchandise.
- Perform a monthly inventory count, look into any deviations, and send the report to the supervisor for approval.
- Oversee other employees and maintain documentation of all internal transfers.
- Keep the supplies properly stocked in the designated locations according to category and code numbers.
- Keep up with all store-related documentation.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related discipline, such as supply chain management or procurement.
- 4 years minimum of experience as a warehouse manager or inventory manager.
- Abilities in inventory management, optimization, demand management, time management, analysis, and communication.
- Fluent in both Kiswahili and English
- Adept at using ERP systems (MUST) and all Microsoft Office apps.
