Responsibilities:
- Monitor the Bank’s report on budgetary controls and forward it to department heads every month.
- Lead the charge in the financial analysis for interrogations in a proactive manner (like revenue leakage initiatives)
- To guarantee that the cost to revenue ratio is properly maintained, review every cost process and recommend best practices for cost control.
- Supervising the tendering procedure from the release of the tender materials to the bidder evaluation
- Plan ahead and pay all required taxes and statutory contributions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Plan and actively take part in the yearly year-end cash count, stationery stock count, and physical verification of the bank’s assets.
- Overseeing yearly audits, which include tax, internal, and external audits, and keeping track of their conclusions and observations.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline
- Enrolled in the NBAA to obtain an ACCA or CPA certification.
- Three to five years’ minimum of experience in a comparable role
- Strong familiarity with the ability to apply Bank of Tanzania regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards
- Outstanding knowledge of and adherence to Tanzanian tax legislation
- Outstanding proficiency with financial analysis
- Fluent in both Kiswahili and English.
