There is a fantastic opportunity in the logistics department of Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd. We are seeking a skilled candidate with suitable expertise in logistics for a role as a distribution driver, based in Dar es Salaam. The Distribution Team Leader in question will receive direct reports from the selected candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Bulk stock hauling (primary distribution) between distribution centers and manufacturing plants, as well as between local distribution partners and OCCDs
- Stock delivery (Secondary Distribution) to OCCDs and Direct Delivery clients
- delivering prompt, courteous customer service to both internal and external clients
- carrying out and gathering the required billing in order to guarantee that all delivery paperwork is accurate and verified.
- Assume complete responsibility for the designated truck, mobile device, inventory, and pallets aboard the truck.
- receiving and arranging invoices from customers.
- Accurate and timely daily stock counts should be performed.
- Observe security protocols and checks
- Control and direction of the truck’s crew
- Respect the nation’s traffic laws and regulations.
- Respect corporate safety policies and make sure there are no fatalities
- Load settlement following each delivery.
Experience
- The minimum requirement for applicants is a Secondary Education (Form IV) and a current, relevant driver’s license.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- At least two years of experience operating heavy-duty automobiles
- ought to be ready to work set shifts on particular days or times of the week.
