Two bottling plants in Tanzania are owned and operated by Coca-Cola Kwanza: one in Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam, and another in Mbeya. Conrad Van Niekerk is the director of the recently established Central African Region, which includes Tanzania, Uganda, and Ghana.
There are fascinating chances in the Manufacturing Department of Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd. We are seeking a competent candidate with the necessary training and work history for the position of Control & Automation Specialist, located in Mbeya. The Plant Engineer will receive direct reporting from the chosen candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and offering assistance during breakdowns
- Letting planners and team leaders know about any changes to the schedule or unfinished work
- Keeping up with any pertinent new advances in technology and equipment improvements
- Arranging for equipment upgrades to the newest models
- Updating all supporting systems and procedures (such as training, tooling, and spares)
- Improve plant process systems and equipment on a constant basis.
- Supporting plant initiatives (installations and upgrades)
- Using instruments and conducting machines audit and produce reports
- Providing assistance with significant setbacks and being reachable via phone
- Assist Team Leaders with access to the OEMS for performance reviews
- Maximizing the dependability of process control devices
- Root cause analysis and fault identification
- Locating and removing persistent problems.
Qualifications:
- The minimum requirement for applicants is a bachelor’s degree in electrical, automated, or instrumentation. two years of practical expertise with S5, B&R, and SCADA software.
- Technical proficiency
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Analytical abilities
- Sound judgment
- Solid understanding of maintenance systems
- Solid comprehension of the connection between quality attributes and machinery
- Understanding of electroprocess control
- Examining and analyzing process control layouts
