A proactive and skilled Resource Mobilization Officer is needed to join CUBE Zanzibar’s team. The task of creating a more diverse network of resource partners will fall to the Resource Mobilization Officer. In order to satisfy Cube Zanzibar’s present and future requirements, the officer will seek out partners that share the organization’s mission and offer financial support, technical assistance, and other types of cooperation. The role of the Resource Mobilization Officer will be crucial in securing both monetary and non-monetary resources, fostering connections with partners and funders, and assisting with our community involvement and public relations initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement a thorough resource mobilization plan to obtain a variety of financing sources.
- Determine possible sources of money and create customized grant, sponsorship, and contribution applications.
- Keep a current database of sponsors, partners, and funders to facilitate relationship management and prompt follow-ups.
- To guarantee ongoing assistance, monitor and report on the status of funding applications and maintain donor contacts.
- Encourage the creation of strong reports, presentations, and proposals in order to obtain financing.
- Write thorough reports that describe the financing initiatives’ state, accomplishments, difficulties, and future goals for management and funders. Make sure that all resource mobilization efforts are accountable and transparent. Campaigns for Fundraising:
- To engage fans and generate money, plan and execute creative fundraising campaigns and events.
Qualifications:
- A three-year minimum of qualifying experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, public relations, or a related role combined with a first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree) in development studies, sociology, project management, sustainable human development, international relations, communications, marketing, business administration, or a related field
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presenting abilities Excellent project management and organizing skills.
- proficiency with CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and social media platforms.
- Shown a strong commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
- It is beneficial to get acquainted with the local entrepreneurial environment in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
