At its 116th meeting, which took place on October 26, 2023, the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) approved the conversion of Catholic University College of Mbeya (CUCoM) into a full-fledged university. This new name, Catholic University of Mbeya (CUoM), will go into effect on January 1, 2024. All those who aspire to further their education, irrespective of their caste, color, ethnicity, gender, or religious affiliation, are cordially invited by CUoM.

CUoM intends to recruit qualified, competent, and devoted personnel who are capable of working with virtue to achieve the practices of the institution. Currently, the University is announcing job vacancies for the following posts:

Qualifications:

Holders of any other credentials that are comparable from Tanzanian institutions that are recognized, or holders of a diploma in library studies and records management with ICT from those recognized institutions;

REMUNERATION:

Selected candidates will receive a competitive pay.

MODE OF APPLICATION:

Complete application package that consists of:

An application letter that has been signed and an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) that is comprehensive;
Copy of the pertinent academic transcripts and certificates;
A copy of the birth certificate in photo form;
A copy of the NIDA or national identity card;
Three referees’ names, addresses, and email addresses;

NOTE:

A current passport-sized photo must be included with each application for a job;
Every applicant needs to be a Tanzanian citizen;
- A candidate with a support needs should specify their specific disability;
