The bank provides microfinance, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME), individuals, and major corporate clients with financial services. With more than 9 branches, 700 DCB Wakala Agents, and more than 280 Umoja switch ATMs, DCB Bank serves more than 3 million clients nationwide.
We are seeking suitable applicants to occupy the role of Director, Corporate Banking. The chosen applicant will be in charge of the company portfolio’s overall expansion and efficient management, including loans, deposits, advances, interest income, and non-funded income.
Responsibilities:
- Putting into practice the bank’s approved plan to help achieve relevant short- and long-term business goals as quickly and effectively as possible.
- Managing the procedures for bringing in new business, strengthening ties with current clients, and maintaining client retention.
- Maximizing cross-selling potential by working together and coordinating the creation and execution of sales initiatives with Retail, Treasury, Operations, and Technology.
- Creating efficient plans to handle client interactions, foresee their demands, and deliver high-caliber, personalized services.
- Keeping up constant adherence to the bank’s policies, practices, and any applicable rules that have been issued by the relevant regulators.
- Managing, regulating, overseeing, and taking accountability for the risk profile and portfolio quality of corporate banks in accordance with the standards set by the Board and Credit Committee.
- Observing and evaluating the portfolio of corporate banks
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree from an accredited college.
- Five years of managerially related experience.
- Outstanding negotiating, sales, and communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to create cohesive, high-performing teams.
- Strong aptitude at money management.
