We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer who can lead East Africa’s technological future through innovative organizational culture and a dedication to digital transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic financial planning to drive business expansion while coordinating vital financial processes.
- Oversee and guide the accounting and finance departments of various organizations, encouraging cooperation and quality work.
- Handle audits, maintain financial compliance, coordinate local operations with international standards, and navigate challenging international finance environments.
- Create and implement financial plans that will maximize cash flow and improve overall stability.
- Utilize tax law knowledge to shape the business’s tax stance and guarantee compliance.
- Work closely with CEOs and other leadership members, offering advice and strategic insights.
- Assist in advancing the company’s expansion for the ensuing five years by coordinating financial plans with long-range goals.
Qualifications:
– Education: A bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, accounting, finance, or a similar discipline is necessary. Finance-focused MBAs are preferred.
Experience:
- Three years of minimum experience as a CFO in a multinational organization, with knowledge of the regulatory frameworks in Europe and East Africa.
- Shown initiative in leading a variety of financial teams.
- Adeptness in handling financial operations and cross-border transactions in East Africa.
- Strong technological aptitude to support the financial industry’s digital transformation.
- Demonstrated capacity to spearhead financial restructuring and cost-cutting measures.
