The College’s principal functions, as stated in the Dar es Salaam University College of Education Charter and Rules of 2010, are to provide integrated teaching, research, and public services.
Applications are solicited from appropriately qualified Tanzanians to fill a short-term vacant job at the Dar es Salaam University College of Education DUCE, located in Chang’ombe, Temeke District, Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be engaged in one-year renewable contract terms to the following vacant post:
Open Position and Description:
1. Artisan II Public Addressing System
Qualifications:
- A form IV certificate and a Trade Test Grade II in Electronics or similar disciplines from a recognized institution. Area of Specialization Installation and maintenance/repair of public address systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To do routine prescribed duties that need greater technical skills under supervision;
- To keep the work environment neat;
- To collect and care for working tools.
- To perform minor repairs and upkeep.
- To report maintenance issues to top staff;
- To undertake any other related duties as given by the supervisor.
Salary Scale: PGSS 2
Note:
- Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens.
