Responsibilities:
1. IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the upkeep and management of the IT infrastructure within the company.
- Assure the network’s and the IT systems’ dependability, security, and effectiveness.
- Oversee network devices, servers, databases, and other essential IT parts.
2. System Integration:
- Organize, supervise, and plan the incorporation of new hardware and software into the current IT infrastructure.
- Assure smooth communication between various platforms and systems.
- Diagnose integration problems and offer fixes.
3. User Support:
- Give end users training and technical support.
- Deal with and fix IT-related problems as soon as possible to reduce downtime.
- Create and update documentation and user guides for IT applications and systems.
4. Project Management:
- Oversee and direct IT projects, such as new installations, migrations, and upgrades.
- Assist stakeholders in coordinating so that projects are finished on schedule and within budget.
- Track project development and make required plan adjustments.
5. Security Management:
- Put security measures in place and keep them up to date to safeguard the company’s IT infrastructure.
- Perform routine audits and security evaluations.
- React to security breaches and put remedial measures in place.
6. Vendor Management:
- To acquire IT goods and services, work together with suppliers and service providers.
- Analyze and oversee the contracts and performance of vendors.
- Verify that vendor services adhere to company standards and expectations.
7. Strategic Planning:
- Create and put into action IT strategies that support the aims and objectives of the company.
- Keep up on the most recent developments in technology and suggest enhancements.
- Establish and oversee the IT budget.
8. Compliance and Documentation:
- Verify adherence to pertinent IT standards, rules, and laws.
- Ensure that all IT systems, procedures, and processes are accurately documented.
- To make sure compliance, do audits and reviews on a regular basis.
9. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
- Create and carry out plans for catastrophe recovery.
- Make sure your company doesn’t stop operating by getting ready for any IT emergencies.
- To make sure you are ready, run tests and drills on a regular basis.
Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, computer science, or a similar discipline.
- Four to five years of experience, ideally in the banking and financial services industry, managing IT infrastructure, integrating systems, and providing user assistance.
- Minimum: Routing and switching Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management is necessary.
