Established in June 2016 under the Companies Act, Act No. 12 of 2002, the Electrical Transmission and Distribution Construction and Maintenance Company Limited (ETDCO Limited) is a subsidiary of The Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO). It commenced operations in January 2017. The company’s mandate is to build and maintain electricity infrastructure both domestically and internationally. As a Class One Contractor, the Company is registered with the Contactors Registration Board (CRB).
The company plans to invest in its operations, systems, and human capital in order to meet its objectives. ETDCO Limited is currently accepting applications for the following jobs of STORES ASSISTANT (UNDER SPECIFIC TASK EMPLOYMENT) from self-motivated, proactive, honest, industrious, and dedicated individuals:
Responsibilities:
- Accepting all provided things and organizing them neatly.
- To label every item that is kept by posting it on bin cards.
- Providing the user with the materials they seek.
- Posting quantities received and issued into the appropriate store’s system and bin cards to make sure the stock balance matches
- Obtained/issued goods
- To oversee and plan all store procedures and guarantee the supply of supplies, instruments, and machinery.
- Keeping and managing supplies to guarantee effective delivery and distribution of the same.
- Generating monthly reports and returns to keep management updated on the state of the stock at any given time.
Qualifications:
- Holder of a diploma in procurement management, material management, or any similar field
- A minimum of one (1) year’s experience in material and store management
- Proficiency with computers.
