We are looking for experienced Account Managers who can travel as needed to join our local Hilti partner team in Geita, Tanzania, in order to service our mining clientele. In all operations within the nation region, the assigned team member will be in charge of Hilti’s market share and will work to further develop profitable sales.
Responsibilities
- In order to meet the designated targets for the defined territory or market segment, you will assume ownership of the given territory and develop sales by utilizing every aspect of our sales process to successfully assess, implement, and control the opportunities inside the territory.
- You will service, teach, and (when needed) actively and successfully show Hilti products. You will receive information on competition, market pricing levels, new releases, seminars, new outlets, quality issues, product deliveries, and report in monthly reports since success requires a full understanding of the market and familiarity with the players.
- Along with actively managing and developing the growth of key products within the sales territory by focusing on the right customer groups and ensuring the successful introduction of new products, you will also cultivate fruitful working relationships with all levels of the organization, including partners, contractors, system integrators, and end users. In order to foster profitable growth, you will make sure that both buying and potential clients inside the customer platform receive the proper amount of coverage.
Qualifications:
A person with an agile approach to tackling problems, Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Is passionate to learn and determined to succeed, with a dynamic sales style and a strong winning and high-performance mindset.
- Accomplished diploma or degree. (A degree in engineering or technology, preferably in civil or mechanical)
- Three to five years of applicable sales or direct technical sales expertise in a heavy-duty industry such as construction or mining.
- The ability to converse in multiple languages when necessary. competent both written and spoken in Swahili and English. One advantage is Afrikaans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT)
- A strong desire to constantly meet goals for performance.
- An agile problem-solving methodology combined with a solution-focused mindset.
- Excellent business sense combined with a focus on working as a team.
- A readiness to go above and above, which includes frequent travel as required.
