Forecasting, budgeting, internal control, and financial planning and analysis fall within the purview of a financial controller. IFS Consulting All facets of financial management are handled by a financial controller, including corporate accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, forecasting and budget preparation, risk management, and the creation of internal control rules and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and analyze the company’s financial performance in light of its long-term operational objectives, projections, and budgets.
- Oversee and deliver regular financial budgeting reports, such as weekly cash flows, estimates vs budget, and monthly profit and loss.
- Oversee the accounting division to guarantee that all databases, financial software, and systems are operating correctly.
- Oversee the cash flow planning process and guarantee the availability of funds.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or its equivalent Necessary
- At least five years of experience in a comparable role at a sizable (US$50+ million) multinational corporation• Over ten years of cumulative experience in finance or accounting with manufacturing companies
- It will be preferred if you have prior petrochemical sector experience.
- It will be preferred if you have experience implementing greenfield projects.
- Exceptional comprehension of local GAPP and IFRS
- Cooperating in the background with the IT team to maintain and/or improve the accounting system. Strong preference for experience implementing systems.
- A “Hands On” SAP working background is required.
- Exceptional presenting and communication abilities
- Extremely strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated executive presence, self-assurance, and leadership skills; able to inspire employees
- Outstanding critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
