The Advisor Program Learning and Research will receive reports from the Intern Learning and Research. Help with the execution of research and learning, including arranging for IRB applications and field implementation tasks for studies.

After completing the internship, the intern will have understanding of Tanzanian implementation research logistics, IRB application procedures, and research guidelines. Additionally, s/he will have access to IRB application systems, research conduct, research reporting, and systems for filing up research documentation in accordance with regulatory binder systems. The Mwanza Region will serve as the base of this internship program.

Responsibilities:

Examine and get ready the JHU and NIMR IRB application packets for submission.
Create study regulatory binders and add research documents to them.
Help in the creation and translation of research papers.
Help in developing the study activities’ finances and scope of workHelp regional leads communicate with RHMTs and CHMTs on field logistics.
Help the study principal investigator (PI) organize the data analysis.
help with writing research reports
Assist with other program responsibilities, such as activity reports, logistics, and field-level program administration.

Required Qualifications :

It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in social science or medicine. having a master’s in public health,
