It is your duty as a security officer to keep all hotel patrons, staff members, their possessions, and all hotel assets secure.
Responsibilities:
- Make sure all areas of the hotel are patrolled and guests and staff are safe by walking surveillance rounds.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service in response to both emergency and non-emergency requests.
- Identify potentially dangerous circumstances and anomalies, such as unwelcome guests, mutilations, or hostile conduct.
- Get all loss reports, look into it, follow up, and decide what to do next.
- Watch specific locations on the closed-circuit television
- Make sure all “Fire Exit” doors are kept clear of obstructions at all times, and make sure all fire and safety equipment is located where it should be.
- Respect all legal and statutory obligations and carry out all duties consistently in accordance with the hotel’s standards.
