We are looking for an experienced Training Manager to oversee our programs on sustainable sugarcane cultivation in the Kilombero Valley’s Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies (AMCOS) on behalf of the Kilombero Community Charitable Trust (KCCT).

1. Training Manager W-1
Responsibilities
- Creating Training Programs: Creating extensive training curricula with a focus on crop management, sustainable farming methods, and best agricultural practices that are adapted to the unique requirements of AMCOS members.
- Conducting Training Sessions: To guarantee knowledge transfer and skill development, provide AMCOS members with excellent training workshops and demonstrations that make use of efficient teaching approaches and resources.
- Encouraging Sustainability: To secure the long-term sustainability and resilience of farming communities, encouraging sustainable agricultural practices among AMCOS members, such as environmental conservation, natural resource management, and smart farming techniques.
- Reporting: Comply with all administrative duties, including reporting and documenting all training, and fulfill any reporting obligations.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: To make sure that training objectives are accomplished and to pinpoint areas for improvement, frequent assessments and evaluations are conducted to track the efficacy of training programs.
Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in science, preferably in a related subject, in applied agricultural extension.
- Expertise giving instruction in a multicultural setting with an emphasis on inclusivity and cultural awareness.
- Five years or more of experience growing sugarcane.
- demonstrated experience in the sugarcane sector, with a particular focus on AMCOS grower operations.
Terms Of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a Contract Basis.
